Early Tuesday morning, police from Blackman-Leoni Township responded to reports of an animal blocking traffic near the intersection of Dorrell and Portage Roads. Initially believed to be a donkey, officers were surprised to find a zedonk instead—a crossbreed with a donkey sire and a zebra dam.
This is distinct from a zonkey, which is the offspring of a zebra father and a donkey mother.
