Veteran Astronauts Complete Critical 5.5-Hour Mission Amid Extended Stay Complications

In a remarkable demonstration of space exploration prowess, NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore conducted a record-setting 5.5-hour spacewalk aboard the International Space Station (ISS) on Thursday, marking another milestone in their unexpectedly extended mission.

They removed a radio frequency group antenna assembly from the station’s truss and gathered surface material samples from both the Destiny laboratory and Quest airlock for detailed analysis.
