Swiss International University (SIU), an expanding international academic institution and an innovator in the education sector, has achieved a major accomplishment in its history: to be recognized globally, as it is now endorsed by TAG-EDUQA. This prestigious award places SIU among an elite list of universities that satisfy the rigorous measures established by the Arab Organization for Quality Assurance in Education (AROQA), a recognized leader in academic comparative evaluation in the Arab world and around the globe.
The accreditation was granted under the chairmanship of H.E. Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, a world-renowned Arab business leader and advocate of education, the Chair of TAG-EDUQA. Derya Briand, Academic Program Director, SIU, said, “To reach this level at first attempt is a proud moment for all of us; it has exceeded our expectations. Our pursuit of TAG-EDUQA accreditation also demonstrates our dedication to sustaining international standards of quality with local relevance in education.
SIU is strategically expanding its range of academic programs and international partnerships, so this recognition comes at a good time. We are a part of an educational network that promotes academic exchange and international cooperation. The consortium comprises the affiliates OUS International Academy, Zurich; ISBM 2011 International Business Management School, Luzern; ISB 18 International Vocational Institute, Dubai; and SIU campus in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Collectively, they are forging the future of education and creating a global learning community that is changing the world, one student at a time.
