Cardi B is officially expanding her family. The Grammy-winning rapper revealed during a CBS Mornings interview on September 17, 2025, that she is pregnant with her fourth child, her first with boyfriend Stefon Diggs, wide receiver for the New England Patriots.
The “I Like It” and Am I the Drama? artist, 32, shared that the baby is due before she kicks off her tour in February. “I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs,” she told anchor Gayle King, adding that she feels “very strong, very powerful” balancing motherhood and her music career.
Cardi, born Belcalis Almánzar, opened up about her relationship with Diggs, 31, describing him as a source of strength and stability. “He just makes me feel safe and very confident and very strong,” she said, recalling how he encouraged her through anxiety surrounding her album rollout.

The couple, who were first linked in October 2024, went public with their romance in May 2025 while attending a Boston Celtics–New York Knicks playoff game. Cardi said their shared drive and ambition make them a good match: “We’re never, like, comfortable. We just have to keep going.”
This will be Cardi’s fourth child. She shares three children, daughters Blossom (born 2024) and Kulture Kiari, 7, and son Wave Set, 4, with her estranged husband, rapper Offset. Offset also has three other children from previous relationships.
Diggs is already a father to an 8-year-old daughter named Nova, born in 2016. Together, he and Cardi will be raising a blended family.

Cardi has long been candid about parenting, frequently posting on Instagram about her hopes and fears as a mother. In one post, she wrote that her “biggest fear is my kids not having that drive,” stressing that she wants them to pursue their passions unapologetically.
During the CBS interview, Cardi explained that she chose to keep the news private until she felt ready. “I just was like, ‘Can I just say it on my own time? I’m not hiding,’” she said. She noted that she wanted to ensure her baby’s health and finalize personal and professional commitments before making the announcement public.
She even admitted she hadn’t told her parents before the taping. “They just be looking at me,” she joked, confessing she was nervous about their reaction — despite them already liking Diggs.
The rapper emphasized that her pregnancy won’t slow her down. With a new album rollout underway and a tour scheduled for early 2026, she said she feels motivated and creatively energized.
Cardi also playfully reminded fans that her growing family should inspire them to support her music: “Y’all wanted to know, right? Now you know. Now y’all can buy my album so I can buy Pampers and diapers and all that type of stuff.”
