Where was the winning ticket sold?

The Greenhills Newsagency at Stockland Shopping Centre in East Maitland, north of Newcastle, sold the winning Oz Lotto ticket. The shop’s staff say this is the biggest prize they’ve ever issued.

“We’ve sold division one winning entries before, but never anything close to this,” said Tiarna Perry, a staff member at the newsagency.

Lotto officials are considering reviewing CCTV footage to determine who bought the winning ticket if it remains unclaimed for long. They’re also prepared to handle a lost ticket claim should someone step forward without proof of possession.
