While concerns grow around finasteride’s psychological effects, researchers are exploring safer and more natural treatments for androgenetic alopecia (pattern baldness).

A new study from the University of Sydney introduced a potential breakthrough: a microneedle patch that combines minoxidil (the active ingredient in Rogaine) with stevioside, a natural compound from the stevia plant.

This innovation significantly improves drug absorption and hair follicle stimulation, at least in early mouse trials.
