A 21-year-old Texas mother is on the run after police say she fatally scalded her infant son in boiling bath water, reportedly out of frustration because he soiled his diaper.
The horrific incident occurred in Hooks, Texas, on February 4, 2025, but an arrest warrant wasn’t issued until June 13. Authorities are still searching for the suspect, Jatoria Renae Cleamons, who faces charges of injury to a child and manslaughter.
According to KLTV 7, police responded to a medical emergency at a home where medics were attempting to save an 8-month-old boy. Despite their efforts, the infant died from severe thermal injuries caused by scalding water.
