Sources familiar with the matter say Musk now wants to concentrate on his companies while avoiding potential rifts with key Republican divs.

From “American Party” to Political Pause

In July, he announced the creation of the American Party after a heated spat with former President Donald Trump over his “Big and Beautiful Bill,” a sweeping tax and spending measure.

“Today, the America Party is formed to give you back your freedom,” Musk declared in a post on X, claiming a “2 to 1” public appetite for a new political force.
